SMS CONSENT

Text-message opt-in workflow.

Live Display offers optional transactional text alerts to authenticated venue owners and managers. These alerts report Roku and Raspberry Pi device status and account activity. Live Display does not use purchased lists, verbal enrollment, or third-party lead generation for this messaging program.

How a user opts in

  1. The user signs in to their Live Display account.
  2. The user opens the venue details page and enters their own mobile telephone number under “Text-message alerts.”
  3. The user turns on “Enable SMS monitoring” and chooses the device alerts they want to receive.
  4. The user checks a separate SMS-consent checkbox that is unchecked by default, then saves the notification settings.

SMS consent is optional. A user can create an account, operate Live Display, and manage connected screens without enabling text messages.

Messages and user choices

Messages may include device-offline, device-recovery, playback-health, temperature, memory, disk, pairing, emergency-display, content-update, and important account alerts. Message frequency varies with device and account activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. Users can also disable SMS monitoring from their venue settings. Live Display records the mobile number, consent time, and messaging preferences associated with the authenticated account.
